WHAT IS YOUR NAME? IS IT ROBERT, RAZIEL, OR WESLEY?

My birth name is Robert Wesley Jones. Early in my legal career, I encountered frequent confusion due to the fact that there were ten other attorneys named Robert Jones practicing law in the State of Maryland. This often resulted in misdirected correspondence, with both my mail being sent to others and theirs being sent to me. To differentiate myself professionally, I began using the name Wesley, signing my correspondence as "R. Wesley Jones." However, despite this effort, the courts continued to confuse me with other Robert Joneses due to my legal name.

To resolve this issue and maintain consistency with my professional signature, I legally changed my first name to Raziel. While I introduce myself as Raziel, I am comfortable answering to any of my names—Robert, Wesley, or Raziel.
